Godfrey Parker (William Powell) of the Boston Parkers and lately, the city dump, faces extraordinary challenges when pulled into a family of zany, scheming and sometimes lost socialites, including the lovely Irene (Carole Lombard) whom he must teach, rescue and eventually save.
